I was sad about this visit, the Dr said we had been in the appointment for an hour which was simply not true. I was about five minutes late and I was told not to worry the Dr was running 25 or 30 minutes late. When he said I had been there an hour it wasn't even an hour from my appointment time. Again, I hope it was just an off day.

Dr Kosteva gives me his full attention and remembers things about me (non-medical, such as I raise chickens) that are not in my chart. He asks me about my sleep apnea and my previous provider never did. I think he treats the whole person, not just an isolated issue I might be having.

No problems with IHA Clinton except I live in Saline-Ann Arbor and very inconvenient for me to drive especially on US 12.
There are always long wait times. We were asked to be there 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time and we waited an hour and a half to see the doctor. This is usual practice.
My experience the last two visits have been very poor. They listen, they blow everything off to a virus, they oversell vaccines - then send you home. I hear this reduced care in the past couple of years is widespread. It's not just this office.

The best doctor I ever had
I am quite pleased with my visit, I have no complaints.
Dr. Kosteva was very professional and provided concise, easy-to-understand explanations. He also answered by questions adequately.
He took all the time I felt necessary to discuss my problems, including carcinogenic exposure in my past, and formulate a plan of action. I never felt rushed. It's only been 30 hours since my appointment and I've already improved 50-75%. He seems to be spot on with his diagnosis.
I couldn't be more pleased with my provider and the health care team. I have the greatest confidence in the medical care I receive in every way. All my questions and concerns are addressed thoroughly at each visit. Not once have I felt hurried or dismissed but rather respected and receive helpful information and treatment planning and follow through. I have recommended my provider to others who see him and are equally satisfied. In all truth it has been many years since I've enjoyed such pleasant and competent medical care.
Dr. Kosteva carefully answered all of the many questions I had. He also put me on a course of treatment that is improving my blood pressure. Very grateful.

I think Dr.Kosteva is really good. I came in really nervous and upset about a health condition and he took the time to check out what was going on. I left feeling much better and calmer. It is a long wait for him, but he takes extra time if needed and this is a sign of a good doctor.

I acquired a new medication plan for 2022, and wanted to be sure the office staff had the card numbers. I was confused about how the plan worked and finally the office manager had to come out and help me understand this new plan. As a senior, and on prescription medications, I was very worried since I changed from my last plan. I have to salute the Office Manager for coming out to reconcile the concerns and answer my questions. She was instrumental in me wanting to stay with this office for my health care.
I felt like this provider really listened to what I was saying. Showed the appropriate amount of concern and did not jump to a diagnosis without ordering appropriate testing as a rule out, which is good.
