Dr. Edmunds has been our PCP before IHA- we followed her here. She is supportive and thorough- always.

Doctor Edmonds showed a lot of concerns same with my regular doctor I was able to get an appointment with her because he is booked till early to mid-november and I respect that I was able to get in to see we'll see all the information

I appreciated not being rushed or looked down on for requiring a medication that many providers judge people for and create an extra layer of difficulty and/or shame by doing so. I empathize with them and the reasons why they can be that way, but it makes a huge difference when a physician actually hears you out, makes you feel seen and real and validates your reality in a fair, kind, and balanced way. It's hard to explain but it has not been an easy journey in getting the care I needed, but once I did, life became so much fuller and I became so well, so it's scary to start fresh with someone new who I know nothing about but who has a lot of power and control when it comes to what I can have access to for my health care. I'm sorry for such a long-winded comment. But it really mattered to me that I was treated with such care and dignity, and I hope Dr. Edmonds can know what it meant.

Exceptional. Did not expect this amount of time allotted to me by the doctor rather than than MA pre screening.
Excellent communication skills, explaining how to use the app for communication and scheduling appointments, explained alternative medication options and diet recommendations. I did not feel rushed and I felt heard and genuinely cared for.
Although I had to wait for a 1/2 hour to see her, she spent the appropriate amount of time with me and was not rushed.
I felt disrespected because my time was disrespected having to wait 45min for my first appointment ever. This was a primary care appointment. It should not feel like an urgent care appointment where you're sitting around waiting forever. The expectation should be higher, and I expected better.

I deeply appreciate the focus on patient consent; for every lab, test, or procedure, the Doctor repeatedly asked if I was okay with her course of treatment. I really noticed a change from healthcare of my past, where I was "told" what was going to happen, and barely anything was explained around risks, potential costs, and side-effects.
