Sunny Chang, PT, DPT

"I grew up in a family who holds a strong value in compassion and servanthood. I was raised with the belief that I can make an impact, whether it's something large or trivial. I wanted to pursue becoming a physical therapist because I enjoy meeting new people, I have a fascination with pathophysiology, and blending them together to impact patient's lives through increasing physicallity. It gives me great pleasure to witness my patient's journeys and helping them achieve their goals to improve their quality of life."

Sunny holds a Doctoral degree of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan – Flint. She earned a Bachelor’s degree of Exercise Science from Michigan State University.

Sunny has attended a variety of continuing education courses though Great Lake Seminars to further develop her skill set of manual therapy. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Integrated Manual Therapist certification (CIMT). Sunny also received further training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Continuing Education to treat the pelvic health population.

Sunny enjoys maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, spending quality time with her husband and pet bunny, Hudson, and travelling. Her favorite trip so far is when she travelled to Austria for a volleyball program.
