Only concern was that I had to wait 25 minutes past my appointment time until I was taken back. Once taken back, care and visit went quickly. I'm happy to wait when providers are running late but, a verbal acknowledgment from staff and reasoning helps to ease patients concerns.

Dr. Chu was patient with my daughter and answered all of my concerns respectfully.
I wanted a prescription refilled but my doctor retiref. I was told by that he would call center that my prescription was no longer will n be the chart and that I had to make an appointment to see a provider which I did. I came all the way in just to find out that if they would have looked further they would would have seen I had the prescription a while back. The doctor just needed to look at my chart and renew the prescription. I did not need to come in. The nurse is as very nice and I know sent upset but with the price of gas I sure would have appreciated just a prescription renewal at the pharmacy or a phone call. Otherwise I have never had a problem.
Always asks if there's any more concerns or questions for him before he leaves. He also promptly gets back with me about any test results.

I thought the provider was genuine in his care for a stranger's health, honest when he spoke, and possessed a well-balanced degree of professionalism and approachability/ humanity.

He is a thinker. Doesn't rush. Very through. Gives good advice. Sometimes forgets what he recommended and I had to remind him to re-take my blood pressure and to order a heart test for me. Got flustered when I reminded him but overall, I really like him and feel confident in his doctors care for me.

I like Dr Chu, he is nice and I think he talks about pertinent things, but I was somewhat curious as to why I went in for a physical and it was a rather minimal experience. I havn't had a physical in a couple years and although I don't particularly care for it, I usually have to disrobe, and be examined in the normal manner that old guys like me are examined, and I didn't even remove my shirt for this physical. I am confident in my health, so I didn't say anything, but I actually expected a more thourough examination.

I had a couple of questions after the visit, I wrote the dr. through the portal. He called me that evening to address my concerns. That is very rare now a days.
Dr. Chu is too weight focused with a general disregard with mental health over physical health. Despite my mention of having previous disordered eating and anxiety, he insisted on bringing up my health and weight due to the BMI scale not being ideal for myself. I found this off-putting and potentially dangerous to clients who are have less stable mindsets than myself.

This doctor cares. He calls me when I start new medicine to make sure it's working. I have never had a doctor take the time to do that. He also provides feedback on any messages I ask on the IHA app. When I moved to this city i had another doctor that I really like and I was unsure if I could find another doctor as good. Dr Chu has show me a level of care that I never expected.
