I was seen to receive a cortisone injection to relieve the arthritis pain in my left hip. I was anxious about the injection due to stories i heard from people that have had the injection. I barely felt a thing and it was over and done with very quickly. It is amazing being able to walk without limping. I am very grateful to have been seen by Kevin C. Caith, PA-C

As with most visits with medical professionals, it seems they are only allowed to spend a certain amount of time with the patient. I understand how busy they are. I would prefer to know they reviewed xrays and other tests and show the patient what they see.

Great experience. Physician鈥檚 assistant (kevin, I believe) was very good at giving the dreaded knee shots and told me of another type of injection should the pain come more frequently.

I also asked *Mr. Kevin about another possible injection of 'synovial fluid' that I had read about, and in response he told me that your Orthopedic Center does have that particular medicine available, that I might consider next time. Perhaps he could have mentioned that before injecting my knees with Cortisone.

I believe he clarified the test being done- that it was diagnostic. I believe he told me how to accurately interpret the results I felt after the test.
The provider was just fine. I saw Dr. Hakim as well. They both explained the procedure and the expected outcome re: pain relief and mobility improvement. They explained what I could possibly expect going forward.
Kevin knew my medical history regarding my right hip. He explained the procedure and advised me to see him in four months.

Explained concerns about mobility with my left knee and made a suggestion for an aggressive PT location. Appreciated being told what the next procedure I would need if I did not break up the scar tissue by my next appointment.
I have received excellent care from IHA and Dr. Hakim's office where Kevin is the PA. He is kind, engaged and exceptionally good at giving shots!

My appointment was a follow up from total hip replacement surgery.
Care and provider were fine. However, most of the questions were not relevant: I was scheduled for a post-operative exam, which included x-rays. That was all.
As usual Kevin is very good. He provided info & service I did not previously know about.
