Heidi Horst, PT, DPT

"I became a physical therapist because I truly enjoy helping other people and wanted to make a difference in people's lives to restore function and help to improve their quality of life."

Heidi holds a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint. She has previous experience working with pediatric patients involving neurological, orthopedic, cardio-pulmonary and other various conditions in the acute care setting as well as inpatient rehabilitation.

She also enjoys working with orthopedic patients of all ages in which she has a collaborative approach to treatment, utilizing a variety of manual treatment techniques including myofascial release, joint mobilization and muscle energy as well as therapeutic exercise and patient education to improve function to the highest level.

Heidi also previously worked for Probility as a technician where she acquired skills to effectively diagnose and develop a treatment plan including therapeutic exercise as a manual therapist.

She enjoys horse-back riding, participating in Dressage competitions, caring for horses on her local farm, playing volleyball, running, crocheting, baking and spending time with family and friends.
