About
"I decided to become a physical therapist at the tender age of 14 after interviewing someone in the field for a school project. I had no idea how well this career would suit my interests, energy and personality and how happy I would be even after many years of practice."
Julia earned a bachelor and master's degree in independent concentration and physical therapy from the University of Michigan and Duke University.
She has worked as a physical therapist for more than 20 years in a wide variety of settings ranging from intensive care to outpatient orthopedics.

Her areas of clinical interest are also varied, with an emphasis on neurological and vestibular rehabilitation as well as manual therapy and spinal mobilization. Julia also has interests in both Pilates and yoga, and incorporates these elements in both clinical treatment.
Julia loves to hike, travel, cook, read and spending time with family and friends.
