"I became interested in physical therapy when I worked in the Ann Arbor Public Schools. I observed my students who received therapy and saw what a huge difference it made in their quality of life. For me, working as a physical therapist assistant is much more than just my job. I love applying my knowledge of the human body to help achieve the best outcome for my patients. Working to help make a difference in someone’s life is very rewarding!"
China holds an associate degree in applied science within the physical therapy assistant program from Washtenaw Community College.
She has experience working in both the outpatient orthopedic setting and in a skilled nursing facility where the focus was on gait and balance training for the geriatric population.
China has a strong interest in learning manual therapy and plans to take courses to further her education.
She is married with two children, and they all enjoy outdoor activities, camping, biking, jogging and hiking.
