"I became a physical therapist because I knew that I wanted a career that was high energy, would challenge me every day, and included working with people. I found studying human anatomy and physiology to be amazing! It is very satisfying to be able to apply my knowledge and skills to help people overcome their limitations."
Leah earned a bachelor's degree in health fitness/preventative rehabilitative programs from Central Michigan University and a master's degree in physical therapy.
Her clinical interests vary from orthopedic to neurological conditions as well as vestibular and pediatric patients.
Leah is a credentialed clinical instructor for physical therapy students and enjoys taking on students to encourage them and provide them with a great learning experience. She also likes being involved in community-based outreach programs that promote healthy lifestyles.
She enjoys boating, camping and hiking with family and friends. Leah is a big sports fan, especially of her children's teams as well as the Detroit Red Wings, Tigers and Lions.
