Dr. Makhiawala is kind,friendly, very knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns. She always asks if I understand the information she has told me and if I have any other questions or concerns. Definitely a gem.

It it wasn't for the compassionate care I receive I would have switched by now but I really like the doctors in the ob/gyn department, the waiting is crazy. It took 4 months to get in to see the doctor and then waited for almost an hour in the waiting room.

Dr. Makhiawala was great and professional as always. I do not blame her for running behind as I know it is because she offers such thorough and excellent care to her patients. I very much would have appreciated more communication from the front desk and nurses on how dramatically my wait time was increasing so I could have made a more informed decision on how I wanted to spend my time. I had questions for the lab downstairs that I certainly could have gone and asked them if I had known my wait was going to be an hour and half and not a half an hour. I may have decided to reschedule rather than sit there during my work day (I had to go home and work an extra hour due to my excessive time spent waiting there during what was my own full time job hours), etc. This is an ongoing problem there, and it is very frustrating. I have had another experience when I have arrived and been told the wait is now an hour. I am always taking work time to go there and I live a half an hour away. It would be great if your office would inform your patients when they are no longer going to be seen anywhere near their appointment time as it feels really rude to have your time constantly taken advantage of in this way.
