Exceptional care
I was feeling rather hopeless after my poor results and aftercare from a partial hip replacement after a slip and fall in 2022. One set of xrays later and an initial consult, I was sent for a couple of preliminary tests and shortly afterwards my husband and I were in Dr. McGlaston's office discussing my need for a total hip replacement, ASAP. It has been 8 months since my successful Revision THR and I could not be happier! He explains everything ahead of time and was very patient with all of my questions! His staff was great at answering questions when I called the office. The hospital was great with pre surgery planning, and even had a designated person to call or go on line with to ask basic questions. I had a Very positive experience with Dr. Timothy McGlaston!!

At my first doctor appt I waited a full hour in the exam room before seeing the doctor. This was a bit uncomfortable and made me wonder if this was a sign of how all appts would be. I understand busy schedules, and things happen that can disrupt timing. I could hear conversation and laughter from a nearby room. I wondered if I had been scheduled during a lunch break, or does everyone have this much fun at appointments?
A terrific surgeon both in the operating room, pre-op work, and post-op work. I'm very glad he was my surgeon.

My appointment time was 2:10 PM; however, I did not see the doctor until 3:02 PM. I understand the doctor may run a little late, but I sat in the room for over 30 minutes before being seen. Also, the privacy between rooms is very poor in regards to sound. I could hear everything the patient in the next room was saying.

This doctor has my highest respect. He is friendly, respectful, caring, knowledgeable and probably has wisdom beyond his years. Great doctor and thankful that I am his patient.

Not only did Dr MacGlaston answer all my questions and concerns, he took time to 'teach' meWhat was going on inside my knee so I could know what my options were for treatment andHOW WELL EACH TREATMENT would impact me.

He took the time to explain to my mother who has dementia what was going on with her knee and gave her several treatment options Definitely a very kind and caring doctor...I have already referred a couple people to him since this visit and will continue to do so thank you again for the excellent care

Dr. McGlaston is a great doctor! The only thing I wish he would have done during this visit is show me the x-rays of my right hip, which he did last year for my left hip. Since he did my left hip replacement, I already knew what to expect for my right hip but did want to see the x-rays.

my visit was very pleasant, all my questions were addressed and I was even informed about a future procedure that could help if my pain doesn't go away in the future.when I'm there I feel the doctor and staff have my attention.
He listened attentively & pointed out if could return to WEC gym & has ready to return to warm water. Pool to swim (this would help me strengthen up body muscle [ . . . ] in support of hip replacement. I noticed I was surprised following hip surgery I had swelling of both surgical & non-surgical ankles. I do not have CHF.
