Patients should be able to ask questions about their test results and receive answers. Patients should feel they are being listened to rather than the doctor telling them they are not correct about their own health history regarding allergic reactions and sideaffects, especially when the doctor doesn't know a patient well. Patients should feel like they are working together as a team with the doctor, rather then a doctor discouraging them from asking questions about test results. Patient should be told more details about future tests or procedures.

I came in for my appointment on [ . . . ]. I met with Dr. Steele. I had some questions about the prescriptions I am taking and their purpose.I was trying to get some clarity. Dr. Steele became annoyed and short with me and was not clear with his answers. He basically stood up and asked my to leave out the exit. As patients all we want is a little compassion with our care. We already have to deal with our illnesses which creates a lot of stress. I think Doctors need to listen more and rush from patient to patient.
