Dr. Gumma is an extremely caring doctor who listens to her patients and gives solid advice or feedback. She has been very supportive after my mother's death. My blood pressure skyrocketed and my weight has gotten out of control. Little by little my weight and blood pressure have been going down. My progress hasn't gone as fast as I would like, but she showed me that my weight and blood pressure has been going down each month for the past three months. The progress is slow, but steady. She pointed out that this means that the weight loss is more than likely permanent. That reassurance has renewed my resolve to continue following the diet and exercise program that I had chosen.

She respects me and listens. I feel like there is no rush or lack of care. It's like going to a friends house who is genuinely concerned for your well-being and they are going to support you in making the best decisions for your overall well-being. If I ask for medical advice via mychart if its something she can provide without seeing me - she does and in a timely fashion. I am just overall very relieved after going through a couple primary care physicians that this is where I am. Her referral recommendations have been good too. Dr. Succar was much more proactive then my other ENT.
