My visit was to evaluate a previously injured shoulder that I thought I may have reinjured 2 months ago.Dr Moravek ordered an xray and evaluated it with me and my husband. He discussed the modes of treatment that could be used from a steroid/ lidocaine injection into the shoulder (which he did on this visit), PT, up to shoulder surgery and what that would entail (including a possibility that the rotator cuff could not be repaired). I appreciated the expertise and the time spent with me and my husband while we mapped a plan of care.
Otherwise I was more than satisfied.

This was my first visit with Dr Moravek due to chronic shoulder pain. Everything went great. Dr Moravek first ordered XRays and then a few minutes later, came in for the physical exam and then to discuss his findings and a treatment plan. Dr Moravek is always extremely kind and understanding. We are working hard to keep David able to support himself as much as possible - ie: using bathroom independently, getting in and out of bed and shower.
He was alright. Nothing to write home about. He did listen and answer my questions somewhat. It was obvious if I hadn't asked questions he wouldn't have offered any more info than the standard for what he believed I had. I left without feeling like I had a game plan for how to treat or even confirmation what I was doing was what I should or shouldn't be doing. He really seemed like he had other people to get to and because I was pretty standard he was only going to go into say so much. His check up was good and the info was good but just felt his mind was not completely on me and helping me get better. Not that I expect personal service, but I'm thankful my insurance covered the visit or I would've felt I almost got my money's worth but not quite.

I found Dr. Moravec to be approachable, kind and attentive. I felt extremely comfortable with him from the minute he walked in the room. He listened and offered viable options that could potentially provide immediate relief for my condition as well as to offer options for 'down the road'.

It was fine all around. I often expect with doctors that the time of the appointment may be earlier than when I see them. That's fine with me - it means patients before me are getting their questions answered. It means that if I need more than 15 minutes, which is really beyond brief, I will get it. I am not wasting time in the waiting room: I always bring a book or work and I'm quite happy to wait.
