I had a scheduled Physical. This always has a Blood draw as part of a standard practice however that is usually at another facility. Although I am very happy I can do it on the day of and get results back that day I wasnt aware and even though I fast as a standard practice it would have been nice to know in advance that the office could draw blood immeditaley folliwng my appointment

Dr Platte is wonderful. She listens, spends time without rushing and always responds to questions and messages. I like she doesn't automatically prescribe medication but suggests what I can try first. I drive an hour to see her. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Getting to see my provider Is difficult. If I have an issue that needs attention relatively quickly I have to use urgent care as my primary Dr. Has a SIX week wait even for non routine problems. This isn't very helpful.

Dr. Platte is an excellent doctor who listens to what I had to say. But the assistant that called me in from the lobby needs a little training on customer service. She did not bother to step out away from the door to call my name. It's a good thing I heard her when she called my name.

I had not been to the doctor in many years due to phobia of blood draws and the doctor and assistant were both very sensitive to the concerns and comforting. Attentiveness and bedside manner were very good.
Dr. Platte is generally very thorough. She does take the time to listen and respond to my questions & in understanding - even when it comes to objects that could be considered trivial. This shows respect & she DOES NOT display ANY FORM of criticism of these minor questions/concerns. Also appreciated receiving a written report about my blood test results this time vs. not a phone call after the old visit. WIsh I didn't have to see a psych provider to get a change on antidepressant Rx.
