Great Doctor, listens to my concerns and great communication
The care was great. The only issue I have is that it takes a long time to be able to be seen. I try to make my next appointment after being seen. If I need to be seen before that I usually will have to see someone else in the practice or a doctor's assistant. I find the time period from making an appointment and finally seeing a doctor ridiculous. That goes for all Trinity Health doctors.

I greatly appreciate the care and empathy provided by the nurses and Dr. Van Hooser. We had been through quite a bit that day prior to seeing the doctor. When I requested a wheelchair to leave the office, the nurse was very gracious to help me to my car. It seems like it would be emotionally exhausting to show care constantly for others.
The experience with my provider was helpful and efficient. While the appointment was somewhat behind schedule, this was communicated to me well in advance and the appointment went smoothly.

The doctor was very friendly he talked with me more like we were catching up and I get like I told him more then I would have with other doctors.
He listened to my chief complaint. Asked good questions. Did a physical exam. This was not true for the IHA specialist I saw within the past 6 months.
Dr. Van Hooser is the first doctor I've seen that I actually feels like he cares about my problems & really listens. He doesn't act like you're crazy as some doctors in this practice do. I'd usually prefer my doctor to be a woman, but I wouldn't change because he makes me feel comfortable and like I can really tell him my concerns. I've recommended him to many friends.
