Dr. Hankin performed surgery on my right hand for carpal tunnel syndrome. He spent time explaining the cause and treatment options for this malady. He used a physical model and drew diagrams showing causes of this condition. Dr. Hankin showed much genuine concern for me as a patient.
Doctor Hankin explained everything in a thorough manner using hand models and written information before my procedure.
I will return in 2 Months Yo. See how I am doing!
Exceeded expectations!
Dr. Hankin always seems to provide a handwritten list of recommendations or options, usually with a drawing of the anatomy or injury such that I may immediately refer to, in order to jog my memory.
Dr. Hankin and his team take the time to explain in great detail (with pictures) what is going on with your condition. He makes sure you understand your options, and explains what the pros and cons are of each option.
Even though the Doctor know I have a history in medical care, he explained things fully and clearly.

No matter the severity of the medical issue, Dr.Hankin gives me the confidence in my mind I can get back using my hands through the steps he provides. And using “everyday terms� not just physicians use, lets me see the light in the tunnel.
When a physician can make me feel like an individual & not just another “patient or number�, I feel like we are part of the healing process together. Since the medical group has the knowledge it’s crucial for that support, for me atleast. And surgery is serious and some individuals need different type support.
