After my initial appointment with Dr. Kaplan, I would say that he is easy to talk to and seems to listen more than I am used to with a Primary Care Physician. I tend to usually feel rushed when the doctor comes in significantly later after the medical assistant is finished, but Dr. Kaplan was on-time, arriving almost immediately after the medical assistant was finished and didn't make me feel rushed at all. He also let me know that I can reach out to him through the patient portal if I have any questions or concerns afterward. I feel like my time was respected and my concerns were worth mentioning.
I look forward to working with Dr. Kaplan as my Primary Care Physician.
This is the second time I've seen Dr. Kaplan. The first time I saw him, at the very beginning of Covid, he literally saved my life. He may have done so during this visit a well. He actually listens, does not judge, and makes excellent, easy to understand, suggestions. He's truly remarkable.

Dr. Kaplan listened intently as I explained the rather stressful last week of my life. He did a full work-up and ran through the most likely cause for my physiological issues. He was gracious enough to order a litany of blood tests to rule out chronic diseases, metabolic deficiencies, and other hidden issues. He put me at ease and I am very grateful for his time.

The visit was brief. Went quickly through the standard questionnaire and then concluded quickly. Only asked about the things I was doing wrong but didn鈥檛 ask about the positive health habits (exercising, etc.). Seeking new primary care physician but there was no personal connection outside the standard procedure. Very little personal connection.

I talked about the nurse or PA I see before my vists with doctor Kaplan I forgot her name but she is young blonde female if that dwindles the search down for you guys of who I am referring to. Even when I come in at my lowest she always manages to make me laugh for smile at some point in my care with her. She listens to what I am coming in for extremely well and I feel she is very knowledgeable of her field. Between her and Dr. kaplan I am in very good hands at every appointment.

My PCP Dr. Kaplan goes above and beyond. I am a cancer patient, and the U continues to drop the ball. Though Dr. Kaplan is not an oncologist, he referred me to the appropriate clinics, listened to my concerns, treated an infection U of M missed, and treats me as a normal person, not a cancer patient.

Dr. Kaplan did a very good job of addressing my health care need on December 17. However, he was the third different provider I've seen in three IHA visits for this health issue since Fall 2020, none of which were my PCP. It has been frustrating to have to explain the details of my condition from square one to each provider because all of them were seeing me for the first time.

Dr. Kaplan is very good, he tried his best to make sense of what I was describing. In retrospect, I was the weak link in communicating and rethought how I described my symptoms on the way home. He was patient, and kept asking questions to help get to the bottom of the fatigue issues I was having.

This was an annual physical, which was pretty routine and non-eventful.
Dr Kaplan was very helpful. He asked plenty of questions and listened to my responses. He knew pretty quickly what my issue was and offered treatment options. I was particularly grateful for the manipulations he did to help eliviate the pain I was experiencing
Always make me feel at ease. Professional, but laid back.
Notes from my last visit were incorrect. I notified the provider about the mistakes. Corrections were made but nobody contacted me to explain me what happened (why the mistakes). From now on I will check all notes and comments to make sure they are accurate.

Very pleased with his knowledge and good advise. Dr. Kaplan stepped in when my first provider had no time for me.
Clearly DID read my record. Asked many questions. BUT gave NO information on treating my condition then to prescribe Clindinmycin (e.g. nothing on wound care). Never told me I had dermatitis - Friends who'd had it recognized the frightening fast development of pain, swelling, redness, numbness, hard bump. Never told me how long I should wait to call office if symptoms didn't improve. (I was worried because it took 4-5 days to see improvement.)
I lilked Dr. Kaplan very much. I usually don't request a male doctor, but I liked him and would go to him again. He listened well and seemed interested in me and my situation.

Dr. Benjamin Kaplan is a doctor who listens to what I have to say fully and takes my input seriously, even the details which most health care providers don't because of how hard it is to follow [....]. So, I appreciate that and I like that he takes notes. It shows me he's taking in my concerns.
He was dismissive and although he was able to reasure me that my initial concern wasn't the issue he didn't address that fact that I said I have chest pains. I also have a car of mastitis that I mentioned and he didn't know about mastitis and had to look it up in the moment. He had a uncaring and judgmental attitude.

Dr. Kaplan was assigned to me whren Reza retired/left the practice. My experience with Dr. Kaplan has been very positive. He's approachable, easy to talk to, and doesn't 'over-manage' my health.
