Dr. Issawi, is a true professional In his ability as a surgeon. He answered every question that my family and I had while visiting him for my possible future surgery. His good nature is humor, authenticity, realistic, explanations, and all the possible outcomes that occur could occur with my situation where deeply appreciated I could not find a better confident And able surgeon as I believe Dr. I saw we will be. I am very grateful to the recommendation from Dr. Islander for me.

I wanted some relief from pain and was pointed in a different option which I hope helps me..
Asking patient yo arrive 30 minutes ahead is where waiting time occurred. Then phone reminder said arrive 10 minutes early. Is that in addition to 30? Confusing. 15 total minutes in advance seemed adequate, but I didn鈥檛 need additional xrays this time.
Just very nice, thorough and answered any concerns I had really well.
We were happy to find out that we did not need to have any procedures done. The MRI was read by the doctor and showed that nothing more was necessary to be done.

After having numerous surgeries in this department and the last fusion failing I would expect some more empathy from the doc. he explained everything well it seemed but seemed very much in a hurry. This is horrible news I received and there was little concern (or so I perceived).

I went to see Dr. Isawwi for my post year check-up after spinal surgery. The surgery was successful, and he explained the results of my x-rays and released me from his care, but told me I could always call if a problem arises.

Review of back MRI taken at Promedica Hickman. I was told I had choices R/T my care. Chose less invasive, but doctor assured me to come back if needed.

I came to this office for MRI results for the cervical spine, he didn't go over that with me at all, which the MRI results were somewhat serious. He just kept flicking thru the thorax MRI I also had done - which the report said was normal.

I was only visiting to find a surgeon for a recent brain tumor discovery. I don't see this doctor on a regular basis. I will say I had a fine visit.
Dr. Issawi is clearly very knowledgeable and clinically competent in his field. I have confidence in his diagnostic and surgical skills. The RN who came in after Dr. Issawi might have provided more info, re: next steps prior to surgery such as the fact that PCP might require further tests (i.e., blood work/EKG) prior to authorizing surgery. Also that some of the info in booklet given might not apply to out-pt. minimally invasive surgery.
