Corbin Taylor was the first baby born in the newly renovated Birth Center at Mercy Health Saint Mary’s.
On January 9, 2018 at 12:07 p.m., the third child (and first son) of Rachel and Robert Taylor came into this world weighing 8 lbs. 2 oz. The Taylors had their second child at MHSM and noticed a big difference between their previous birthing experience and their most recent one.
“We were here with our last child,” said Robert. “The room is a lot bigger this time, and I think that bed (fold-out and full-length) is going to be fantastic for me tonight. It seems like everything you needed during the birth was right here…you didn’t have to keep going to get things.”
Although exhausted after 12 hours of labor, the Taylors are thrilled. “Everything is awesome…my wife is awesome and my baby is perfect. I couldn’t be happier.”
Congratulations to the happy couple and baby Corbin!
