Three Nutrition Services Staff Honored with January Friends of Nursing Award
March 22, 2022By: Mary Ann Boyer
It is not often that multiple people from one team are selected as Friends of Nursing, but that is what happened in January. What follows is taken directly from the nominator’s comments:
The whole team does an amazing job. They are so friendly, fast, and efficient. My coworkers always compliment how polite everyone is. We are blessed to have them all. thank you for hand picking a great team. The three stand out colleague who deserve special recognition are Donneasha Marshall, Kim Theisen, and Sally Leonard. These three ladies always have a smile, are happy to help, and make a very welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Donneasha Marshall is deserving for the many opportunities she serves her colleagues and patient visitors. She is always smiling, prepares food orders without errors, and makes one’s lunch break feel like you can escape the busyness of the day and catch up with an old friend. She is a great addition to the Mercy Health Culinary Team.
Kim Theisen usually works mornings over in the “Home Town Favorites.” She is always smiling and happy to help. She is a pleasure to see in the mornings and pays attention to details, such as noticing new earrings (LOL). Always giving compliments, seeing her is great way to start the day.
Sally Leonard always has a smile, is happy to help, and makes a truly welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors.
You all deserve a pat on the back. Your team is making a difference representing Mercy Health Muskegon.
Congratulations, Donneasha, Kim, and Sally. What a positive difference you make!
