The Trinity Health Ann Arbor Rehabilitation team offers a comprehensive program to help individuals overcome injury or illness and regain independence and function. Services include both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation.

Our 32-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation program provides a caring, focused environment to maximize each patient's functional ability after hospitalization. With short wait time and comprehensive care in one location, Inpatient Rehab is beneficial for individuals recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, amputation, major trauma, cancer rehabilitation, intrathecal baclofen pump, neurological disorders including Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, multiple sclerosis, other neurologic conditions, and complicated medical conditions with rehab needs. The Inpatient Rehab program includes:

Level 1 Trauma Center

An award winning medical staff consisting of a highly educated, interdisciplinary team of skilled professionals

Intensive specialized therapy services including occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech language pathology

A spacious rehabilitation gym where the team works together with the patient and their family to meet milestones necessary to safely return to the community

Daily collaboration and supervision by a team of physicians and midlevel providers who specialize in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Recreational Therapy, Orthotics & Prosthetics, and Neuropsychologic Services

Rehabilitation Team led by Physicians who specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, seeing the patient daily and available 24 hours a day

Multi-specialty Physician coverage for any and all medical needs consisting of:

A hospital nationally recognized for quality of care and patient satisfaction

A high nurse to patient ratio with specialized rehabilitation nurses focusing on comprehensive care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week

Patients staying in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit are on the 4 East unit. Visitors for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit should park in parking lot B or C and enter through the Main Entrance.
