Trauma Support Services
Trinity Health Muskegon is proud to be a member of the Trauma Survivors Network (TSN), a program of the American Trauma Society (ATS). The TSN is a community of patients and families who are looking to connect with one another and rebuild their lives after a life-altering injury. Joining this community can help ease the anxiety and frustration often experienced following a sudden injury and the resulting hospitalization of a loved one.

SafeERteens
SafERteens is an evidence-based youth violence prevention intervention for clinical settings. It is a brief intervention that is conducted 1:1 with youth. This program has been shown to reduce youth violence up to 12 months post intervention. Trinity Health Muskegon is proud to partner with the University of Michigan to implement SafERteens in the emergency and trauma setting.
SBIRT
Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) is offered to trauma patients at Trinity Health Muskegon to aid in identifying risky use of alcohol and other drugs (substances). The goal of SBIRT is to prevent or reduce use of substances to prevent related health consequences, disease, accidents, and injuries though an early intervention approach.

Stop the Bleed
Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and a call to action. This class trains, equips and empowers community members help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Classes are offered year-round in both Grand Rapids and Muskegon.
