In partnership with Trinity Health Michigan medical education and training programs, Trinity Health IHA Medical Group operates multiple Academic practice locations. Our academic practices are unique in a few ways:

• During your appointment, you will first be seen by a medical resident.
• Medical residents are overseen by Academic Preceptors - experienced board-certified physicians with a passion for teaching. 
• You may see an academic preceptor physician at the end of your appointment, or the preceptor may review the medical resident's summary of your appointment in your medical record and follow up with you as appropriate.
