Trinity Health Adult Partial Hospitalization Program - Ann Arbor Campus

Our partial hospitalization program is for adults struggling with severe mental health issues. Our day treatment program provides a higher level of care than traditional outpatient settings. Adults undergo intensive individual and group therapy during the day and then go home.

Intensive therapy helps people with psychological and psychiatric issues that affect their ability to function. Whether those issues occur at home, school, work or in the community, we can help. We frequently care for people struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and personality disorders.

Partial hospitalization is for patients with mental and behavioral health issues who require medical observation to:

• Regulate medications such as stimulants, antipsychotics and mood stabilizers
• Minimize serious medication side effects
• Optimize care for people with multiple psychiatric or medical conditions
• De-escalate life-threatening or incapacitating symptoms, such as a tendency to self-harm
